About Us

Ta'awun Charity Organization is an NGO which was established in 2018 with the core objective of providing providing charity to the poor, Ramadhan distribution of food across all counties including Nairobi, Garissa, Kericho, Murang'a, Kwale, Tana River e.t.c. To provide free vocational training on short courses such as Computer, Tailoring, Henna, Electrical Engineering, Arabic and Quran classes.
We are dedicated to distribution of shoes across all slum areas such as Kibra, Majengo, Korogocho, Mathare, e.t.c, monthly food rationing to the poor. We also provide interest free loan to the poor to start up business; Enable them come out of poverty and enhance their standard of living. Ta’awun. Means solidarity for the good course.
We believe in a world without poverty. Where people have the power to solve their own problems.
We are Taawun, a community of people who have two things in common; a passion to fight poverty, and the drive to do something about it.
Some of our people have the knowledge and ideas on how to make a real impact, while others have access to resources.
We believe that real sustainable change comes about when people are given the resources to build their own communities.

To diligently reduce and ultimately eradicate poverty in Kenyan slums by empowering individuals through education, vocational training, and access to resources, fostering self-sufficiency and resilience, and building strong community partnerships for sustainable change and lasting impact.

To eradicate poverty by empowering economically marginalized families through interest-free loans, enhancing entrepreneurial potential, and providing capacity-building initiatives that impart essential skills, knowledge, and social guidance for sustainable community development.
