Project
Shoe Distribution

At Ta'awun Trust Organization, our mission is to uplift the lives of school-going children in Kenya’s most disadvantaged slum areas, including Kibra, Majengo, Korogocho, and Mathare. In 2024, we have proudly distributed 1,500 pairs of shoes to children in primary schools, addressing a critical need for proper footwear that many take for granted.
Shoes are more than just a basic necessity; they are essential for dignity and self-worth. A lack of adequate footwear for children from low-income families can lead to embarrassment and hinder their ability to attend school consistently. Our project aims to restore this dignity, ensuring every child can walk into school with pride and confidence.
As we look to the future, Ta'awun is committed to expanding our efforts and distributing even more shoes to those in need. Every step counts toward a brighter future, and with your support, we can continue providing hope and opportunities for these young learners. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where every child has the resources to succeed, paving the way for a better tomorrow. Join us in making a meaningful impact in their lives.
